Hi, I’m Kayla!

I’m new-ish to the hair world and so excited to be on this journey! In the past year, I graduated from cosmetology school and became a licensed stylist here in Delaware. The Rooted Mane is my very first salon home, and I truly couldn’t be happier to be part of such an inspiring, supportive team of stylists.

​

Beyond hair, I’m passionate about all things wellness—physical, mental, and spiritual. I live by the 80/20 rule and believe that balance is everything. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll likely find me baking or cooking from scratch, thrifting, sewing, crafting, or cozied up watching a rom-com with my partner and our two sweet cats.

In the salon, I’m currently loving big, bouncy 90s blowouts, cutting tons of layers, and creating overall transformations that make you feel brand new. I’m also super excited to continue growing my skills in blonding, color, extensions, scalp health—and maybe even esthetics in the future.

I can’t wait to meet new faces and make every guest in my chair feel happy, comfortable, beautiful, and confident.
